Each project may have regional priorities that have additional importance to the project because of its geographic location. Factors related to location may influence a project's priorities and applicable strategies. This ranges from direct climate conditions (e.g., amount of sunlight received, average temperature, risk of flooding) to nearby amenities (e.g., access to public transit, areas of natural habitat) to the energy sources that power the region's electricity grid (e.g., fossil fuels vs. renewable sources).
